Uniform Rib pattern

Parallel ribs are engraved on the rebar through CNC machines which create a long lasting bond between two otherwise dissimilar materials concrete and steel.

Controlled water cooling prevents the formation of coarse carbides, which is the main cause of corrosion. Precise machining of rib pattern also eliminates torsional residual stresses. Together, this creates superior corrosion resistant capabilities and enhances life cycle of the bar.

Weldability

Metaroll TMT bars have a carbon content of less than 0.25%. As a result, no pre-heating is required and wastage due to welding can be reduced considerably.

Tests have conclusively revealed equivalent energy dissipation during repeated stress cycle. This property facilitates minimum damage to the structure and minimizes casualties caused due to earthquakes.

Fire Resistant

The high thermal stability of Metaroll TMT rebars and the presence of tempered Martensitic-ring on the outer surface imparts higher capacity to retain strength at elevated temperatures of 400-600 C.

High quality of raw material is melted in induction furnace which also has a few gases. In order
that all these gases completely escape and impurities are totally removed, molten liquid is
transferred into Ladle Refining furnace where additional heat is provided.
